yesterday before i left for my weekend road trip (i'm in iowa right now) i was presented with a shuffle full of music from the work crush. a lot of the music is romantically oriented, and i am really really digging that.

i'm afraid to say that i really like her- part of me wonders if things would be a bit different if we didn't work together. there is an electricity to it, perhaps because of the whole illicitness of it all.

but i do like her. i do like getting text messages in the morning that tell me that work is going to be bring because i'm not there. i do like listening to the mix (mix? it's a whole frakin' shuffle that took her 2.5 hours to pick songs out for) she made. i do like thinking about her.

i do not like my allergies. and i am not in the mood to drink drink drink, which is what everyone wants to do here in iowa. because the only place i want to drink drink drink is at home with the work crush so i'm not so nervous around her. and so i could lower my inhibitions and just finally take the step to kiss her.
