its been 2 weeks since my last entry. why? who knows. work has been kicking my ass in the sense that i've actually been working. all 8 hours. everyday. anyway, i've got some things to share.

1. i have a magic hat. not so magic as in the "today's special" hat that made jody come to life. right now i'm not wearing this magic hat, but i seem to be fully functional. however, this magic hat makes me irresistible to women. friday night i ended up at the local lesbo bar and ended my night by making out with some girl- and the only thing i know about this girl is her first name. no number, no nothing. i was rather intoxicated and kind of felt cajoled into the whole making out, but i enjoyed it. i know i rambled on to this girl about how i thought she was cute, but really i can't do the dating thing and it was me not her. i probably should have just shut up and let the making out be just that. but whatever. however, she did do some strange face holding, and staring deeply into my eyes. ummmm, ok.

2. i somehow ended up at the damn local lesbo bar AGAIN on saturday night, with the hat on. strange. as i got hit on by 1 french girl with a girlfriend, 1 girl who while waiting in the bathroom line asked if she could "just get with me for 5 minutes," 1 boy who is trying to set me up with his hot lesbian friend, and 1 other girl who is on the 2nd or third layer of my lesbian friend circle and whose sense of humor i love, but has a girlfriend. it was a great night, which ended with breakfast with strangers (turned friends) at 5am. i haven't done that in a long long time! it was also good to be "on" all evening. nonstop humor from this girl.

3. the magic hat left me unscathed this weekend. i'm not sure how i managed to be hangover free (paced drinking, perhaps?) but thats how i roll (this weekend, at least).

5. art show this thursday! woo! with a real reception and shit. woo!

6. i probably have more to write but its time to get back to work for reals.
