i spent all weekend looking for the veronica mars girl (see previous entry). i mean, in between buying shoes and clothes and getting drunk, and other things.

the funny thing? i found her! i bought tickets to a concert about a month ago. and went there last night with some friends to enjoy the show. i saw some girl in the crowd that looked like the vmars girl, laughed at my optimism, and went back on my way. i mean, really?

after the concert ended people were milling about, and this vmars girl was standing around with some friends. i told my friends that- "hey look, i think its that girl i was telling you about." but not really thinking that it was her. but i was destined to find out. i saw her nailpolish, and it was blue. just like vmars girl.

so i went over and said "hey didn't i meet you in the bathroom line at...?" and she said hello and hugged me! weird! and we exchanged pleasantries about the concert and plans for new years eve. i got her first name. and that was basically it. the end.

again, i'm kicking myself for not saying more. here's what i should have done: tell her i was having an art show, she could come by if she wanted to, and then give her one of my artsy business cards. thats what i should have done!!!! but i didn't.

this morning i logged on to myspsace and the people at the bar that i had initially met vmars girl at had posted some pics. she was in like 4 of them. which is a lot considering that the photographer took 234982309482390 and the bar people only posted about 25.

so now what? well i have mixed feelings. is the universe trying to tell me something about this girl? or should i take a cue from the photos (none of which were bad photos- just a lot with a lot of different people) and understand that this girl probably isn't my type...?

oy.
